摘要: An apparatus is described for the simultaneous measurements of density, viscosity, and electric conductivity ionic liquids at high temperatures. Density simply measured by suspension a platinum bob in melt contained crucible situated inside vertical tube furnace. The suspended wire attached to one arm an analytical balance. Upward or downward motion produced changing weights on pan velocity bob, directly dependent viscosity melt, calibrated against standard liquid from 10 000 poise. By using as two electrodes, becomes conductance cell. corrections density due surface tension are eliminated use bobs different dimensions but similar wires. This furnishes not only duplicate results also cell‐constants conductance. Vacuum fusion possible same apparatus.
