摘要: A wealth of investigations, ranging from clinical and animal model studies to in vitro analyses, have generated great interest the cardiovascular effects leptin. Accordingly, many examined contribution leptin cardiac remodeling heart failure whether on metabolism, apoptosis, extracellular matrix remodeling, hypertrophy could explain so-called obesity paradox. Furthermore, hyperleptinemia often been associated with hypertension, regulation sympathetic tone or direct contributors such as atherosclerosis, endothelial dysfunction, thrombosis documented. Unfortunately, translating basic research vitro, models, human physiology has proven difficult. The degree resistance is one intriguing issue that must be resolved. importance autocrine paracrine derived perivascular adipose tissue further studied. Carefully planned executed conclusively establish distinct system normal diseased states will essential harness any therapeutic potential leptin's effects.
