摘要: BACKGROUND It is vital for orthopedic residents and residency programs to have a current understanding of the materials resources utilized on Orthopedic In-Training Examination (OITE) tailor resident educational curricula accordingly. This study presents an updated analysis hip knee section OITE. METHODS All OITE questions related reconstruction over six examinations between 2014 2019 were analyzed topic, subtopic, taxonomy, imaging modalities, performance, references. RESULTS There 166 1600 (10.4%) six-year period. The most commonly tested topics include mechanical properties total implants (10.8%), instability after THA periprosthetic fracture (10.2%), prosthetic joint infection (10.2%). A 362 references cited from 68 different sources. common sources JOA, JBJS, JAAOS, CORR, which collectively responsible 68% all citations. was average publication lag 7.1 years, with 75% citations falling within 10 years question date. Compared prior 2005 2009, there significantly more complex multistep regarding treatment fewer one-step knowledge recall (P = .003). Similarly, recent tests had involving interpretation radiographs (55%, P < .001) advanced (9.6%, .001), compared decade ago. CONCLUSIONS continues evolve time, incorporating literature topics. identifies high-yield that can guide preparation section.
