摘要: There is evidence that insufficient sleep and more stressors are individually associated with poor metabolic health outcomes. Examining jointly may account for greater variability in outcomes; however, we know little about the combined effect of both on health. This study examined whether experiencing response to ("stressor reactivity sleep") was body mass index middle-aged workers. One-hundred twenty-seven participants (Mage = 45.24 ± 6.22 years) reported nightly characteristics daily 8 consecutive days. We collected height weight measurements calculate (kg m-2 ). On average, workers following nights shorter-than-usual duration or poorer-than-usual quality (negative slope means higher stressor sleep). When examining represented by duration, compared those average (within ±½ SD; reference), high (≤-½ SD) had (B = 3.24, p < .05). The these fell obese range. no difference between low (≥+½ reference group. quality, not significantly index.
