摘要: The paper describes some abnormal features of the F2 layer at high-latitude stations in southern hemisphere. variation midday value critical frequency (foF2) with magnetic dip shows assymmetry between northern and west (American) zone, but not east zone. control by earth's field is indicated latitudinal distribution even midnight values foF2. diurnal Port Lockroy minimum maximum during summer months. These are explained on basis horizontal transport ionization as guided field.
