摘要: Background Barbed sutures may expedite dermal approximation and improve tissue support while requiring less time material than conventional sutures. Several types of barbed are available, each with unique advantages. Objectives The authors sought to determine whether the incidence complications differed after wound in plastic surgery when various brands vs nonbarbed traditional were employed. Methods conducted a retrospective review outcomes body contouring, free flap, breast reconstruction. Suture type closure method noted for case. number 2-layer was compared via 1- techniques several sutures, other. Results A total 1011 surgical procedures, including 298 procedures 713 performed by 5 members faculty. technique associated significantly higher rates separation methods.
