摘要: Background. The triceps brachii muscle, the strongest extensor of elbow joint, is characterized by three heads: long, lateral and medial. Objectives. In present study we aimed to examine linear parameters (length, width) fetal muscle provide their growth dynamics. Material Methods. Using anatomical dissection, digital image analysis (Multiscan v.14.02), statistics (Student’s t-test, regression analysis) measured in mm length width 30 fetuses both sexes (12♂,18♀) aged 12–29 weeks. Results. Neither sex nor laterality differences were found. all studied increased proportionately with age. functions computed as follows: y = 6.797 + 2.079 x age (r 0.886) for long head’s belly, – 0.041 0.215 × 0.786) 1.889 0.174 0.796) proximal tendon, 0.158 0.052 0.864) 5.270 1.809 0.855) 0.348 0.284 0.829) 0.942 1.837 0.839) medial 0.314 0.234 0.852) 3.191 0.984 0.929) lenght common 0.478 0.133 0.933) tendon. Conclusions. male-female right-left are observed morphometric muscle. belly thinnest, while widest one. head longest shortest developmental dynamics follow (Adv Clin Exp Med 2014, 23, 2, 177–184).
