摘要: Interleukin-16 (IL-16) is an important pro-inflammatory cytokine that functions as a chemoattractant factor and well characterized in human other mammals, but largely unknown fish. In the present study, two isoforms of pro-IL-16 homologues were cloned from pufferfish Tetraodon nigroviridis. The full-length T. nigroviridis isoform 1 cDNA exhibits 2453 bp size including 291 5'UTR (untranslated region), 1704 ORF (open reading frame) 458 3'UTR, while 2 3801 3'UTR. Bioinformatics analysis demonstrated with predicted mass 60.6 kDa contained PDZ (postsynaptic density/disc large/zona occludens-1) domains, whereas 138.2 had additional domains its N-terminal extension. RT-PCR results revealed ,almost all examined organs tissues, mRNA both can be detected, except intestine gill, where absent. putative precursor proteins showed 30.0-33.0% identity to various mammalian avian homologues. This first report such genes teleostean fish we hope molecular characterization these will provide insights into study evolution IL-16 immune system whole.
