摘要: Sets of new gene sequences from human, nematode, and yeast were compared with each other a set Escherichia coli genes in order to detect ancient evolutionarily conserved regions (ACRs) the encoded proteins. Nearly all ACRs so identified found be homologous protein databases. This suggests that currently known proteins may already include representatives most not similar any database sequence are unlikely contain ACRs. Preliminary analyses indicate moderately expressed more likely than rarely genes. It is estimated there fewer 900 all.
