摘要: Abstract An analysis is presented of the secondary effects due to deformation as a result shearing force, kinetic energy rotation, and gyroscopic coupling, on linearized equation straight shaft turning at constant angular velocity which subjected an axial torque compressive force. The local equations motion section are derived magnitudes coupling terms studied, non-dimensional variables being used. Results obtained by different authors in certain particular cases rediscovered, and, particular, case short bearings studied. Some comparisons theoretical results with those from experiments given.
