摘要: The foundation of welfare economics is the assumption Pareto-efficiency and its concept tradeoffs. Also production possibility frontier, efficiency nondominated set, etc., belong to plethora tools derived from Pareto principle. tradeoffs does not address issue system design or redesign in order reduce eliminate as a sure characteristic suboptimal, inefficient configuration. In this paper we establish that are attributes objectives, criteria dimensions, it habitually assumed, but properties very sets possibilities, alternatives options they purport value measure. We use De novo programming, through which so called feasible set opportunities can be redefined towards optimal, tradeoffs-free implications tradeoff-free too vast foresee elaborate single paper; do touch foundations economic thought. Some numerical examples given illustrate system-design calculations linear systems.
