摘要: Abstract Most of the studies on Indian energy sector focus possible future scenarios system development without considering management dimension to problem—how ensure a smooth transition reach desired state. The purpose this paper is highlight some concerns sustainable in country. follows deductive approach and reviews present status outlooks from existing literature. This followed by strategy outline achieve long-term sustainability. Management challenges way such are finally presented. finds that aspiration becoming an economic powerhouse need eradicate poverty will necessarily mean increase consumption unless decoupling GDP growth achieved. Consequently, country eminently unsustainable. A focussing demand reduction, enhanced access, use local resources better practices proposed here. However, path faces number policy perspectives.
