摘要: Abstract A local density of electronic states and a HOMO–LUMO gap monatomic-layered platinum cluster with size 30 (Pt disk) on silicon(1 1 1) surface were measured by space-resolved tunneling spectroscopy. It has been found that (1) both occupied unoccupied orbitals are delocalized due to Pt–Pt metallic interaction in the disk (2) electrons transferred adjacent silicon atoms so as induce two-dimensional charge polarization disk. The center is charged positively, while boundary between negatively.
