摘要: We present a theoretical study of the electronic transport through single-molecule junctions incorporating Pt6 metal cluster bound within an organic framework. show that insertion this molecule between pair electrodes leads to fully atomically engineered nano-metallic device with high conductance at Fermi level and two sequential on/off switching states. The origin property can be traced back existence HOMO which consists degenerate asymmetric orbitals, lying close in energy metallic leads. Their degeneracy is broken when contacted leads, giving rise resonances become pinned display destructive interference.
