摘要: Throughout history, economic activity has taken place in what may be called an open system of materials flow. People have historically natural materials, transformed them into products for their use, and then discarded worn-out any left over from the production process. This practice often forced early peoples to change location as build-up wastes rendered existing settlements uninhabitable. is no longer feasible modern times, we can avoid that create, disposing becoming more a burden. would suggest industrial such ours will replaced by one control flow materials. To do so require new paradigm our system- {open_quotes}industrial ecology{close_quotes} whose processes resemble those ecosystem.
