摘要: Collimated plane-grating monochromators (cPGMs), consisting of a plane mirror and diffraction grating, are essential optics in synchrotron radiation sources for their remarkable flexibility good optical characteristics the soft X-ray region. However, poor energy transport efficiency conventional cPGM (single-layer-coated) degrades source intensity leaves reduced flux at sample, especially tender range (1–4 keV) that covers large number K- L-edges medium-Z elements, M-edges high-Z elements. To overcome this limitation, use multilayer-based is proposed, combining multilayer-coated with blazed multilayer gratings. With combination, effective cPGMs can be increased by an order magnitude compared single-layer cPGMs. In addition, higher resolving power achieved improved increasing blaze angle working order.
