摘要: Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) almost always remains confined to the system. We report a patient with well documented PCNSL who responded treatment, but subsequently developed pathologically confirmed systemic metastases without repeated local failure 35 months after initial diagnosis. In review of world's literature we identified 5 other cases histologically antemortem and total 62 (CNS) in some way associated extraneural lymphoma. These are classified discussed. Clinicians caring for patients must remain alert possibility metastasis, especially as control improves.
