摘要: Recent studies have shown that barrier effects exist even in relatively vagile species such as forest songbirds. The objectives of this study were to determine whether a 560 × 100 m riparian buffer strip mature was used movement corridor by songbirds and, if so, what extent persisted woody vegetation regenerated the adjacent clearcut. Over 4-yr period, juvenile rates decreased and increased regenerating Adult first year after logging, then gradually decreased, while still increasing However, both adult higher than an undisturbed control site. Results suggest most adults we captured held territories vicinity net lanes, and juveniles dispersing away from their natal territory. Four years harvest, clearcut strip, but several had not yet been or detected regeneration. Our results use with regeneration for juveniles. acted following species: Philadelphia Red-eyed Vireos, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Ovenbird.
