摘要: Abstract This paper presents experimental methods to estimate crack-tip field parameters and characterize R -curve behaviors of translaminar fracture in cross-ply composite laminates using digital image correlation. The investigated include stress intensity factor, energy release rate effective crack length. nonlinear least-squares method conservation integrals are used determine these from elastic far-field displacements, based on the homogeneous approximation anisotropic solids for laminates. sources error two parameter-estimation investigated. results show good consistency. Finally, two-stage rising -curves obtained with acceptable accuracy.
