摘要: Abstract : Computerized models are developed to predict the spreading, movement, evaporation, and dissolution of floating slicks formed by accidental spills insoluble chemicals. Separate for continuous instantaneous spills. The waterway can be a river, channel, lake, or coastal water. emphasize dynamics thick slick (i.e., gravity- viscous spreading phase) since contains nearly all spilled chemical represents most prolonged hazard. Predictions compared results spill tests conducted in large laboratory basin channel. evaporation predictions wind tunnel wind-wave tests. Agreement is generally good.
