摘要: In urban areas, large concentrations of chemical compounds are emitted into the atmosphere by industries, vehicles and other human activities. Nearly 3000 different compounds, mostly organic, resulting from activity have been identified in atmosphere. This com‐ plex mixture pollutants can impacts on health environment. Thus, sys‐ tematic determination air quality should be, for practical reasons, limited to a restricted number pollutants, defined terms their importance material re‐ sources available identify measure them. Generally, chosen serve as in‐ dicators currently regulated universally occurring compounds: sulfur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3) nitro‐ gen oxides (NOx). They due frequency occurrence adverse effects pollution be characterized deterioration good environmental conditions exacerbation existing problems, which manifest themselves health, population welfare, vegetation, fauna, struc‐ tures. The attention regulatory authorities researchers must not only look standards quality. There that despite being unregulated deserve atten‐ tion because damage they cause environment and, especially, health.
