摘要: Early detection of HIV has great potential to reduce transmission, especially when newly diagnosed individuals are treated early. treatment and suppression viral loads is known effectively attenuate transmission. However, little about whether persons at high risk for being appropriately tested during healthcare encounters according national guidelines. Specifically, the at-risk adolescent population may be under not routinely monitored by state-level surveillance system. This study reviewed testing rates adolescents from 2005-2012 main tertiary care pediatric center in Rhode Island. While absolute number tests continued increase, this decreased seven year period.
