摘要: Abstract Gamma radiolysis of iodine ions in aqueous solutions was investigated under high intensity gamma-rays (at 4.5 × 106 R/h) from 60Co at ambient temperature. The yields radiation induced oxidation products, I2 and IO3− were measured as a function dose, I− concentration solution pH. yield increased with increasing decreasing G(I2) value is determined to be 0.2 pH 2 containing 10−3 MI−. At an iodide 10−5 M or less, the formation diminished, whereas found. Iodide converted nearly quantitatively hwern initial 10−6 less range 3 9. maximum G(IO3−) 0.001 8 solution. A mechanism proposed explain experimental condition. This consists successive oxidations HIO primary intermediate. Experimental data have demonstrated that iodate BWR coolant result effects on radioniodine coolant. would predict steam phase probably distillation volatile
