摘要: Abstract Tissues composing the lower urinary tract of female cat were discribed and analyzed mor-phometrically. Statistical comparisons made with dog using previously obtained canine morphometric data. Despite a superficial similarity, differs from in having significant component longitudinally oriented urethral smooth muscle appreciably less striated sphincter. It is suggested that requires an active mechanism for overcoming continence due to inherently smaller lumen, compared dog. The implication our findings mechanics are different
