摘要: Urinary bladders and pelvic urethrae were collected from six adult two juvenile male dogs. Within vesical urethral sampling regions, volume densities estimated for smooth striated muscle, connective tissue elastic fibers, stratum cavernosum, luminal epithelium, prostate. The neck had significantly less muscle more than the body of bladder. In prostatic urethra, was associated principally with trabeculae surrounding prostate lobules. Smooth sparse superficially in capsule practically absent relation to mid-prostatic urethra. Thus there no mechanism active closure middle fiber density correspondingly high this region. sphincter needed maintain urinary continuence prevent semen reflux primarily neck. Caudal prostate, comprised 40% wall. Juvenile postprostatic similar except a decreased quantity cavernosum pups.
