摘要: Adiponectin is a plasma protein produced by the adipose tissue. Hypoadiponectinemia has been associated with insulin resistance and several components of metabolic syndrome (MS): type 2 diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia. We investigated whether single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at positions 45 276 in adiponectin gene were features MS 747 unrelated Spanish subjects. The G allele SNP45 G/G genotype SNP276 impaired glucose tolerance (p = 0.020 0.042, respectively). for was lower serum levels as compared G/T T/T genotypes (G/G, 10.10 +/- 0.24 microg/mL; G/T, 10.98 0.32 T/T, 12.00 0.92 p 0.015) even after adjustment sex, age, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio, homeostasis model assessment index, degree 0.040). found significant negative association circulating ratio (r -0.42, < 0.001), sagittal abdominal diameter -0.24, triglycerides -0.32, index -0.14, uric acid -0.36, 0.001) positive high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol 0.41, 0.001). Our findings indicate that are MS. may affect hypoadiponectinemia.
