摘要: Various ratios of TiN particle reinforced Fe-based metallic glass coatings were prepared using gas tunnel type plasma torch and their phase microstructure formation was examined through XRD, SEM-EDX TEM characterization techniques. Mechanical wear behavior the evaluated by Vickers microhardness tester conventional ball-on-disk tribometer. The microstructural results showed that Fe formed with minimum amount oxidation. Fraction in coating microstructures linearly increased weight percentage initial feedstock also particles embedded matrix throughout microstructures. Microhardness respect to fraction microstructure. On other hand, friction coefficient rate gradually decreased increase volume An applied load coatings.
