摘要: The differential cross section for formation of H(n=2) metastable atoms from the near-resonant charge-transfer process H++Cs to H(n=2)+Cs+ is investigated both experimentally and theoretically. measurements are performed in laboratory energy range 20.4-100 eV. experimental procedure measures number Lyman- alpha photons emitted after quenching H(2s) metastables, scattered at a given angle (0 15a0) adiabatic molecular states smaller R.
