摘要: We have measured using optical means the absolute density of saturated vapor pressure cesium by absorption resonance radiation corresponding to 62P3/2→62S1/2 transition. Experimental results are compared with those obtained a surface‐ionization gauge and Taylor‐Langmuir equations. Density was between 12.5°C 39.2°C; in this temperature range experimental error is about 10%. For higher temperatures, increases but not simple fashion related atom cell. A different method proposed which permits be up temperatures above 100°C, requires calibration formulae.
