摘要: Chicken anemia agent (CAA) was isolated from broiler chickens in Texas with a blue wing or dermatitis-like syndrome. Specific-pathogen-free chicks inoculated field material developed anemia, and CAA MDCC-MSB1 cells bone marrow lymphoid tissue chicks. One isolate, designated EF88/78/276, further characterized. Infectivity of EF88/78/276 resistant to treatment chloroform heat at 70 C for 5 minutes. indistinguishable the Cux-1 Gifu-1 isolates by cross-neutralization tests. Almost all 1-day-old susceptible intramuscularly but contact-infected did not. Antibody detected breeder flocks Texas, Delmarva peninsula, Alabama.
