摘要: Abstract Background The method of attachment prosthesis to the residual limb (suspension) and socket fitting is a critical issue in process providing an amputee with prosthesis. Different suspension methods try minimize pistoning movement inside socket. Seal-In® X5 Dermo® Liner by Ossur are new liners that intend reduce between liner. Since effects these on unclear, objective this study was compare effect using Vicon Motion System. Methods Six transtibial amputees, both Iceross Liner, participated study. vertical displacement (pistoning) measured liner single support prosthetic (full-weight bearing), double (semi-weight non-weight bearing limb, also under three static loading conditions (30 N, 60 N, 90 N). Findings results demonstrated within when used, decreased 71% comparison Liner. In addition, significant difference two different found (p  Interpretation Participants needed put extra effort for donning doffing X5; however, type provided less pistoning. approach uses motion analysis system might be alternative measuring
