摘要: The suspension system and socket fitting of artificial limbs have major roles vital effects on the comfort, mobility, satisfaction amputees. This paper introduces a new pneumatic that overcomes drawbacks current systems in donning doffing, change volume during daily activities, pressure distribution socket-stump interface. An air (APSS) for total-contact sockets was designed developed. Pistoning interface were tested APSS. More than 95% area between each prosthetic liner measured using Tekscan F-Scan measurement which has developed matrix-based sensing systems. variance around stump 8.76 kPa. APSS exhibits less concentration stump, improved distribution, easy adjustability to remain fitted more adaptability changes volume. adjusted by utility sensor. vertical displacement point reliability assessed photographic method. optimum every level loading weight 55 kPa, maximum 6 mm when 90 N loaded.
