摘要: Eight new deletion mutations in the prn gene cluster involved L-proline catabolism Aspergillus nidulans have been characterised and mapped. Three of these are located within prnA, regulatory mediating proline induction, confirm positive nature action prnA product. In addition, four prnA- alleles which phenotypically suppressible by aminoglycoside antibiotics identified. Of mutations, two tested for suppression translational suppressors. Both genotypically suppressible, showing that product must be a protein.
