摘要: Prostate cancer (PCA) is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy and second leading cause of death as a result in men USA many other western countries. In year 2003 there will be approximately 220,900 cases 28,900 deaths due to PCA. Steroid hormones, particularly androgens (As), play major role PCA, but their precise not clear. The majority PCA responds A ablation therapy by temporary remission. However, tumors eventually relapse an A-refractory state. recent study from our laboratory suggests that androgen receptor (AR) function may proliferation cells. Several reports suggest AR co-activators are involved A-dependent A-independent We have shown p300 CBP transactivation AR.
