摘要: Dynamic models of ecosystem services supply and scenario analysis changes in multiple are being increasingly used to support land use planning decision making. This approach reduces potential real conflicts among various stakeholders potentially creating win–win solutions for all. It is particularly applicable areas where insufficient agriculture settlements resulting high rates conversion natural forest grasslands. We quantified mapped services, including habitat provision as a proxy biodiversity, carbon storage sequestration, water balance the Sarvelat Javaherdasht region globally-significant Hyrcanian (Caspian) forests northern Iran using Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs tool. experiencing rapidly increasing rate result, protected area located within study landscape threatened by human encroachment. Plausible future landscapes were modeled under three scenarios: (i) business usual; (ii) protection-based zoning which reflects an expansion boundary prevent changes; (iii) collaborative through redefining protection simultaneously with adjustment meet local stakeholders’ objective anthropogenic cover. The results showed that would best contribute effective policy because it presents more rational spatial configuration maintaining services. may lead reduced environmental impacts while achieving less conflict between government communities. These will help inform shape resource management policies elsewhere world.
