Magnetic surface anisotropy of cobalt and surface roughness effects within Neel's model

摘要: Neel's phenomenological model of magnetic surface anisotropy is generalised to hexagonal close-packed structures in order determine the cobalt. The results obtained are fair agreement with experimental values for Au(111)/Co interface. It also shown that allows roughness be easily taken into account.
