摘要: The pool sizes of free l-phenylalanine and l-tyrosine, the precursors rosmarinic acid in Anchusa officinalis L. cell suspension cultures, fluctuated during culture cycle. major increase was preceded by a peak prephenate aminotransferase activity, while subsequent decrease coincided with presence high activities phenylalanine ammonia-lyase tyrosine aminotransferase, two entrypoint enzymes biosynthesis pathway. Timecourse feeding studies linear growth stage cells revealed that turned over rapidly, consistent direct participation synthesis. Since externally applied l-tyrosine rapidly incorporated into little evidence radioactively labeled intermediates, it is suggested there exists close coupling between biosynthetic pathway, which may involve channelling intermediates both within
