摘要: This article introduces the special issue by going beyond traditional debates about geopolitics and great power rivalry. Instead, it examines emergent highly complex world of Central Eurasia, in its transformative effort to reorder itself response both global local change. In particular, paper (and volume) focuses on two interrelated themes: one a changing Russia, that is anxiously trying adapt uncertain dynamics within wider Eurasian space; other—of an emerging complexity new order-making regional (integration) initiatives are poised reshape future international order.
