摘要: A mechanical and metallurgical characterization of friction stir welded butt joints aluminium alloy 6061-T6 with 6082-T6 was carried out. For comparison, similar material made from each one the two alloys were used. The work included microstructure examination, microhardness, tensile bending tests all joints. An approximate finite element model joint, taking into account spatial dependence strength properties, made, modelling a test weldments. This study shows that dissimilar joint present intermediate properties when compared base material. In displayed properties. instance in hardness profile lowest values obtained AA6082-T6 plate side where rupture occurred, nugget type values.
