摘要: Abstract In the last decade environmental performance of climate effective carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) considering also other effects has become focus several studies. With various technological CCS options under development, field possible technical solutions is hardly covered yet. This paper identifies technologies whose have been analysed from a life cycle perspective. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) proved to be helpful tool investigate consequences associated with introduction CCS. Even though, big differences in underlying assumptions existing studies make comparison difficult, some general can described. intended reduction GWP by introducing CO2 (up – 85% hard coal oxyfuel, 95% lignite 80% natural gas post-combustion) combined an increase effects, regardless technology, time horizon or fuel considered. Performing normalisation step shows that acidification human toxicity potential watched as well. Additionally, three parameter sets identified, which significant impact on effects: (a) development plant efficiencies energy penalties; (b) efficiency; (c) origin composition.
