The 2011 General Election in Spain: The Collapse of the Socialist Party

摘要: The 2011 general election in Spain had unprecedented results. Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) got its worst electoral results ever elections and the Popular (PP) won obtained second absolute majority since establishment of democracy. We sustain that defeat PSOE can be considered a more defining feature than victory PP. Minority parties increased their support three new entered Congress. This article analyses political economic context led to these changes with respect previous 2008.
