摘要: Multivariate analysis revealed distinct sub-regional coral communities among the southern Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf Oman. Differences in community structure locations were associated with considerable spatial heterogeneity oceanic conditions, strong directional environmental gradients. Despite clear differences, changes to have occurred throughout northeastern Arabian Peninsula as compared previous studies. The most dramatic these are apparent from Acropora dominated poritid faviid communities, particularly Hormuz. Although temperature salinity previously been cited major factors structuring around region, additional parameters, including chlorophyll-a, surface currents winds shown be important reef Peninsula.
