摘要: Preoperative chemoradiotherapy (CRT) has become the standard treatment for patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. However, no specific biomarker been identified to predict a response preoperative CRT. The aim of present study was assess gene expression patterns cancer their responses Fifty-nine were subjected Patients randomly assigned receive CRT tegafur/gimeracil/oteracil (S-1 group, n=30) or tegafur-uracil (UFT n=29). Gene changes studied cDNA and miRNA microarray. association between evaluated. microarray showed that 184 genes significantly differentially expressed responders non‑responders in S-1 group. Comparatively, 193 UFT TBX18 upregulation common both groups whereas BTNL8, LOC375010, ADH1B, HRASLS2, LOC284232, GCNT3 ALDH1A2 lower when compared non-responders. Using microarray, we found 7 16 non-responders groups, respectively. miR-223 higher group tended be several likely useful establishing individualized therapies
