Hand washing practice among health care workers in Ethiopia: systemic review and meta-analysis, 2020

摘要: Abstract Objective Hand washing with soap and water is the single most weapon against infectious agents. Proper hand not only reduces nosocomial infection, but also prevents spread of current global concern Novel Corona viruses (COVID-19) other viral illnesses like cold flu. Therefore, aim this study to assess practice among health care workers in Ethiopia. Methods In meta-analysis, target variables search from different databases, Google Scholar, African Journals OnLine, PubMed, Scopus. All necessary data extracted by using a standardized extraction format. Heterogeneity across studies was evaluated I2 index Cochran's Q test. A random effect model computes estimate pooled proportion workers. Results we included fifteen observational summarize proportional study, practices Ethiopian 57.87% (95% CI: 44.14–71.61). Subgroup analysis conduct identifying sources heterogeneity. Conclusion The overall low. recommended at least for 20 s prevent contagious disease viruses.
