摘要: Abstract The energization of positive ions in front a cometary bow shock is investigated. Ions produced by ionization the neutrals interact with solar wind protons to produce, among other waves, large amplitude oscillations ambient magnetic field. Such are convected towards comet at unperturbed speed far from and lower closer (due mass loading) ; hence, they can energize suprathermal Fermi acceleration. spatial extension acceleration region order 106 km resulting ion energy spectrum harder than Earth's case. produces an additional deceleration wind, such that Halley-type may be regarded as “cosmic ray shock”.
