Dual-phase gas-permeation flow-injection thermometric analysis for the determination of carbon dioxide

摘要: Abstract A flow-injection configuration based on a dual-phase gas-permeation system from liquid donor to gas acceptor stream with thermistor flow-through detector is proposed for the direct analysis of in acceptor. This was applied determination carbon dioxide (in form carbonate) using following chemical reaction: CO2(g)+2NH3(g)+H2O(g)=(NH4)2CO3(s), linear response 1×10−3 50×10−3 mol l−1 CO32−. Carbon produced and permeated into gaseous air/water vapor. The detection limit carbonate, sampling frequency 60 h−1 achieved relative standard deviation 4.1% replicate injections. manifold, along membrane phase separations, as well reaction, provides enhanced selectivity when compared employing stream, serious interferents this system, instance, acetate formate, among others, do not interfere system.
