摘要: Midshaft radial bone mass was first measured from 1970 through 1972 by photon absorptiometry in 42 pairs of monozygotic (MZ) and 38 dizygotic (DZ) male Caucasian twins (age 44-55 years). The MZ intraclass correlation (rMZ) .70 significantly larger (P less than .05) the DZ (rDZ) .45, providing evidence for genetic influences (Smith et al. 1973). Radial measurements repeated 16 years later (1986-87) on 25 21 revealed an rMZ .61 rDZ .44, but difference not significant greater .05). had average loss 0.49%/year between two examinations. (.52) (.49) values 16-year were both different zero, their similar size indicated that correlations due to nongenetic factors. In a search source adult mass, heritability estimated formula 2(rMZ - rDZ) width found be .66 .76 examinations 1 2, respectively. An index density (mass/width) calculated, differences at either examination. (rMZ = .35; .43) provided no influences, results findings mass.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
