Growth and characterization of delafossite-type Pd(Co1-xMnx)O2 (x = 0.04, 0.11) single crystals

摘要: Abstract Solid solution crystals of Pd(Co 1− x Mn )O 2 ( =0.04, 0.11) high quality have been successfully grown using a metathetical reaction. The maximum crystal sizes 0.96 0.04 and 0.89 0.11 are about 0.6 ×0.6 ×0.9 c mm 3 0.2 ×0.2 , respectively. show silver metallic luster well-habited. polyhedral-barrel shape which is clearly different from the hexagonal plate pure PdCoO crystals. In broad cusp at 18 K observed in temperature dependence magnetization low magnetic field.
