摘要: The present review aims to study the prospects and opportunities of introducing vegetable oils their derivatives as fuels in diesel engines. A survey recent studies research on oil based is given within historical context. Fuel related properties are reviewed compared with conventional fuel. use neat (edible and/or non-edible), biodiesel its blends a engine has been discussed. Performance emission characteristics highlighted. Suitability different combustion chambers for operation outlined. Techniques decrease viscosities Current developments blends, engines examined.
