摘要: Convection flow in a vertical layer of ferrofluid heated from side and subject to the transverse magnetic field is studied. A stability map computed compared with experimental visualizations. It shown that excitation magneto-convection leads formation vertically aligned rolls. The interaction thermo-gravitational thermo-magnetic motions results roll wave patterns various spatial orientations. A new instability mechanism found exist for sufficiently large values Grashof number.
